Drawing the News Archive

A (sort of) daily series of warmup drawings inspired by events in the news. I look at the day's stories, find an interesting story, a compelling photo, etc. and sketch it. These usually take between 20-50 minutes depending on my level of focus and how much I have to get done afterwards.

All works are 9"x12" on Strathmore Vellum Bristol, drawn with a Palamino Blackwing pencil.
